Loving December.. it's probably one of my favourite months because of the festive mood everywhere. Not to mention that I love Christmas, and I enjoy Christmas exchanges - regardless of the budget/nature of it.. the point is the joy of exchanging little gifts within a group and the laughter that follows :b

I wanted t fill this post with some pictorial updates but there's something wrong with the connection and I'm not receiving the pictures. Of course I wanted t type a reasonably lengthy post as well, but me being me, I was distracted. LOL. Ohwell, next time then, I need t wake up early so I need t sleep now..

Meanwhile, keep believing! Another great year is waiting t welcome us, soon. :)

A title for this post is redundant.

I'm tireddddd. I think as responsibilities stacked up, work felt heavier. In my first three months, leaving on the dot wasn't an issue, and I felt that the workload was at a pretty comfortable pace. But during the last few months.. there's been a consistent, increased frequency of OT experience. The amount of work to manage alone for my brand... in my opinion I think it's quite a lot.

Everyday time flies like nobody's business, and there's so much to do.

And I was doing work a while ago.

Of course I think I learnt a lot in the realm of marketing, as I had to do every single shit because there's nobody else working on my brand (except for my GM but it doesn't make sense if she does the work herself as she has her own area of specialization to work on). This is not funny.

Make everyday count

I feel particularly loser-ish today. I don't know where all my motivation has gone to.. I used to be more digilent than this? Maybe it's just one of those times where every one of us has at some point of time - feeling lost. 

I don't know but this feeling is utterly sickening. I don't want to feel like this, or rather, I don't want to create any chance for me t feel like this.

Ok, come on girl. Get a fucking grip of yourself.

Oh dear, it's been 3 months since I last blogged.

Time on the laptop has definitely decreased after starting work, once again. Just came online t research on accommodation for Taiwan in June, and we finally finished booking the places to stay. Can't wait! Again, I seemed to be always visiting places which I've gone before hahaha. But since I've never gone there with Lou before..... It's gna be an amazing experience :)

Managed to go on a short get away to Bali last month though! A really short one over the weekend, but the little retreat felt good, away from the hustle and bustle here, away from work..

I should wash up and sleep already :3

As we have all experienced and are aware of, there are multiple factors which affect significant decisions in life.. It could be effort, talent, determination, luck, values, influencers... and the list goes on.

But above all, I think timing has the biggest play.
And you'll never really realize how important that particular timing when an occasion occurred/could have occurred was, until some point later.

I'm a lover, I'm a fighter

One of my favourite activities is actually, and surprisingly, watching movies. I know some people might find this lame since watching movies is an activity widely integrated into our social lives.. it's like a common practice which many probably won't even associate the word "favourite" with.

I don't know, but I just like watching stories unfold on the big screen. Magical, comedic, romantic, inspiring, heroic (and any descriptive word of a movie you deem fit) stories being illustrated. Be it fictional or based on true stories. It's like for that very few hours, I'm immersed in the story's settings. Plus, some films have such amazing cinematography.

I think I pay attention better when watching movies in a theatre though, as with how we usually force ourselves to sit through the movie even if we need the washroom and how we don't get interrupted by texts/calls etc.. LOL okay why am I even analyzing this part.

Speaking of movies, "Lone Survivor" is such a worthy watch. One of the best movies so far in 2014 (in my humble opinion haha).

Ahhh, I can't wait for Wednesday to have something settled and confirmed. Once I've made up my mind and have it settled, it will be one significant concern off my mind.

Life's been good! I feel really happy. It's such a great feeling to be happy with what I have. Actually, if only we could remind ourselves hard enough that there are many less fortunate situations out there in other parts of the world.. we don't really have the right to feel unjust and unhappy. 

Will be going to volunteer at a dogs/cats' shelter this Sat with bb.. can't wait :)

Oh nooooooo, so I've been sleeping late. Lately. Habits, ugh.

Crossing my fingers (toes as well) lately.. I hope I am able t secure something I like because I think having a certain extent of interest in what I do is crucial. In many ways it could possibly matter.

Learning t be content everyday. There are times when relativity and comparison would find their way t our minds inevitably, but still, keep reminding yourselves t stay thankful. And kind.

Christmas is nearing! Can't wait to feel the jolly week :)

So today! A rare stay-home day.. caught 4 movies with Louis hahahaha. It all started with The Notebook playing on HBO... caught it again although we've watched it before. Besides the romantic plot, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling probably made our second time watching it effortlessly pleasant heh. After The Notebook, there was Elizabethtown, followed by Arthur Christmas..

And after dinner we rented LOTR to watch. Yes, must be us being LOTR/Hobbit fans after watching The Hobbit in the theatres last week. I'm going to make him join me in "creating a guild" dedicated to LOTR/The Hobbit. Hahahahahahahahaha kiddin', but that was what fan girls/boys practised frequently on Neopets in the past (or at least during my childhood), anybody remembers?

Hello. This is my first time blogging from my workplace.
Just feeling a lil blue. When things don't go your way, you just have to deal with it isn't it. Sure I am contented, but envy is a bitch. Envy is really one annoying bitch.

I must snap out of this and stay happy.

Note to myself:

- Sleep early (what else)

- Walk yoyo more often

- Step out of comfort zone and do well in it if things are confirmed

- Get started on my side interest soon

- Maybe get a hair cut / new hair colour, I don't know yet

- Learn how to whip up some common dishes

- Worry less and take a leap of faith.

Or perhaps, take many many leaps of faith since we're all gonna need it all the time anyway!

I'm quite amazed at how some adults can wake up earlier t prepare breakfast before work. I mean, maybe I've been sleeping late for way too long, such that waking up incredibly early is a challenge for me. Well I guess eventually, when I get married in the future, I want to be somebody who can wake up early t prepare breakfast. Different types of breakfast. I think it makes a difference to how a day begins!

Anyway, before I end my post, I just can't help but t throw in my insignificant piece of comment. Insignificant because it was already repeated by many -

I'm.. disgusted at the behaviour exhibited by Singaporeans who have started public arguments just because of an inanimate kitty. Omgness... REALLY???????!!! Incomprehensible.

Okay gonna sleep. Goodnight. Everyone must be exclaiming in their minds TGIF!

I think I've got my answer after reading so much random advice. I'm going t give it a few months. It should be enough time for me t tell. By then, it's either I face the positive results of what I choose t believe in, or... otherwise.

Feeling horrid. Gonna get myself some cup noodles fr supper now.

Sometimes, not getting what you want could be a wonderful stroke of luck.

So, instead of saving up my money for further trips like going to Europe or anywhere out of Asia... I chose to  go to Taiwan with my JC friends and Phuket with Louis! As much as I would love to explore further countries, I didn't regret my choice because of the best company I can ever ask for :) If I had more money, I would really love t travel more at this age :(

We went to Taichung and Taipei for the Taiwan trip. To me, Taichung was more interesting since I've been to Taipei before previously! And Taipei is really just about shopping. But Taichung, there were more scenic spots, and Feng Jia night market is by far the best night market out of all the ones I've been to in Taiwan haha. In terms of both food and clothes. In Taichung, we also stayed at a "Ming Su" for a first time. It was located at quite a ulu place, but nevertheless, an intriguing and cosy experience.

For the Phuket trip, it was more than beach and water activities for me and Lou surprisingly! Besides going to snorkel (We snorkeled at Raya Island instead of Phi-phi), we also went to check out a waterfall spot (LOL total #fail), played minigolf games at this Dino Park near Karon Beach, watched Muay Thai Boxing tournament, and also paid for a cultural live show and buffet at Phuket Fantasea.

Okay I suddenly became lazy t continue typing hahaha.

Good luck to my continuity of exploring opportunities around... don't really want t rush into something I don't like. I believe the chances will come.

I had a bad night yesterday. Then again, it's not always ups in life. Suck it up and move past it, and look forward to better days! Hope all of you have a great weekenddddd.. :)

I think sometimes I try too hard for the wrong things. I should channel such efforts somewhere else, where I can see results instead.

Your local tourists

So, today Lou brought me t the River Safari! We were aware that the main attraction, Amazon quest boat ride, isn't ready yet. But we decided t go ahead since we have already planned t go haha

As Dropbox is still syncing my pictures, I only have very few photos t upload as of now hahaha. Speaking of  syncing... my phone was sent for repair two t three weeks back as it wasn't charge-able, and the service staff said that there could be a problem with the phone's software. There was no way my photos and information could be synced  and all t my comp through cable (phone couldn't detect cable at that time), and the only possible way was t send my pictures t the lappie via bluetooth. Sadly, only 400 photos were sent through before my phone battery ran out. Yes, out of probably the thousand taken over the past year. And yes again, I know I should hv cultivated the habit of backing up my stuff. So guys, start autosyncing/backing up your data/photos just in case!!!

Wow ok, I sidetracked qt a lot. Back t River Safari.

 Loved the view! This was taken halfway through our trip. As not all the attractions at River Safari are up yet, and given the fact that it's a Monday, the place wasn't crowded at all. And, the weather was awesome too.. not really warm and humid. We actually like how 'chill' it felt over there hahaha

Lol. Taken when it was walking t the trainers for the animal show. Prolly their only animal show for now.  

 THE RED PANDAS. I adore how cute they look. They kept walking along the edges I don't know why..... but they're really cute hahaha.

This is Kai Kai! We talked a fair bit to the staff/zookeepers (not very sure if they're the zookeepers or just staff who were stationed there) t understand more about the pandas hahaha. The staff said Jia Jia tends t shy away from the crowd, and usually it's only out for one or two hours. Louis and I managed t see Jia jia in the end so I guess we were pretty lucky hahaha. Also, we asked if they would be allowed t 'roam together', since they're separated with a wall as of now... and the staff told us that the separation should be temporary. Kai Kai is 6 years old, a mature age for pandas; while Jia jia is 5, which means she's 1 year away from being 'mature'. When she reaches 6, the two pandas would prolly be put together :)

Okay seriously I don't know why I bothered explaining all that hahaha but it's pretty interesting lah.

School has ended for me! It STILL doesn't feel quite real. 

Years of education... graduation would mark the end of my academic life :(

Now it really involves some serious thought regarding how I'm going to go about next.
