Back to work!
I was afraid that I would be quite forgetful about work since I've not been there for quite some time... but glad that everything's alright! Seriously, Fridays and Saturdays alone would be enough t get my back totally ache.
Man.u VS Liverpool tday. There's this effing big screen in the middle of Clarkequay area where the fountain was. Sponsored by Man.u Fan Club (I think so)? The hardcore fans were wearing their club's tees and making a lot of cheers before the match started. I forgot what they chanted lol. But it was an interesting sight.
So... we even had t enclose our alfresco area with those metal stands and red thick erm bands (sorry Im a noob I dont know what's that called). Because we have two tv screens displayed to the alfresco area, and two inside pump. Nobody was supposed t be standing within the enclosed areas w/o a drink (business was great) but you had t look at the number of free-riders outside the enclosed area.
So basically yesterday and today spelt busy.
I can really train my multi-tasking skills!!! In fact, I have been multi-tasking a lot during work. Today there was this woman who blew up a little because I forgot a spoon. I was already apologetic because there were so many things running through my mind that time... so my colleague helped me. She became so stuck-up, just because she thought she has a Caucasion boyfriend? Like I give a fuck, seriously. Haha.
Then there was this group of people who just couldn't understand that we had no more available tables, in or out. They have already ordered a tower (3.5L beer) from me when they knew there were no seats, and after the tower was out from the bar, they were still rambling that they needed t find a table since they had nine people/the tower was huge. I couldn't commit t them because I had other customers as well. I wasted so much time explaining t them and trying t help them find a bloody space. They could have been less insistent, but okay customers are always right lor?
Ok I admit I was ranting but I needed to lah.
Before rushing off t work in the evening, I met up with Ningjia and Jiajia for NTU open house. We saw quite a lot of familiar faces, but I didn't manage t see the person I wanted t see (haha!). Actually we didn't attend any talks, but merely took some courses' brochures back t read and understand. RANDOM but their pearl green tea sucked, but their canadian pizza was not bad ah :) We spent half of our trip eating I think. Haha! We took the same shuttle bus service back, but this time round we waited for 25 min for the bus? So... long. The bus travelled at a freaking slow speed somemore forcing us t show our impatience.
I can sense that I'm falling sick... symptoms like sore throat and heatiness are having no mercy on me right now. So sad. I can't afford t fall sick now. I think ample sleep/rest sounds like the perfect remedy, but how to, when I've slept at 7 A.M yesterday and woken up at 12 NN. +++ I think by the time I head t bed now it'd already be 7+ A.M and I have t wake up by 11.30 A.M, :(
I have submitted my roster for Weds, Fri and Sat :)
Very hopefully I can REALLY START buying newspapers tmrw and trying t make my plan in mind work - Get a full-time/more normal working-hrs job a.s.a.p. Money money money, I need t be money-minded right now because I need this precious matter on earth t spend on Taiwan. Oh and I think I've not mentioned... but I'm going t Taiwan in late April with the 7 girls!!! I can't wait.......
